An arraignment is a court proceeding at which a criminal defendant is formally advised of the charges against him and is asked to enter a plea to the charges.
Does a person have to speak with the police after being arrested?
No, and it can be held against you. Most times you should not admit anything to law enforcement without first speaking to an attorney.
What is the difference between a DUI and DWI?
In Florida DUI and DWI are the same thing, driving under the influence.
What happens if I am caught with drugs in Pennsylvania?
I don’t practice in Pennsylvania.
What is considered a misdemeanor?
A misdemeanor crime is a type of criminal offense that is more serious than a citation but less serious than felony charges. Some examples include: petty theft, prostitution, public intoxication, simple assault, battery, disorderly conduct, trespass and criminal mischief.
